Bomb cyclones. New viruses. It’s time to spend more time inside!

It’s deathly freezing this time of year. So stay indoors watching these not so cozy flicks, set in some comfortable pads. Here are 10 horror films that make you feel like you’re in a nice warm cabin, having a relaxing sleepover with your pals, or spending time at the good old family home. Too bad some serial killer had to ruin a good time on the couch. Enjoy the fun while it lasts, tune into these classic and sometimes campy scary films.

Somebody Help Me (2007)
Spending the weekend with your friends in the remote woods sounds perfectly safe. Unless your friends start disappearing one by one.

Speak No Evil (2022)
Be careful of the “mates” you meet on holiday.

Evil Dead (1981)
A nice time in a cozy cabin is the perfect getaway, unless demons show up of course.

You’re Next (2011)
A celebratory family getaway gets real creepy.

When a Stranger Calls (1979)
Babysitting is the easiest job in the world. Comfortable couch, a fridge full of food, and a child who is already asleep. Practically getting paid for doing nothing, except be harassed by a psycho who has poor phone etiquette.

House of the Devil (2009)
Never take a pizza delivery recommendation from just anybody, it can really ruin the vibe.

The Cabin in the Woods (2011)
“I always feel like somebody’s watching me!” gets a bit too real.

Slumber Party Massacre (1982)
It makes you miss the days where sleepovers were just braiding each other’s hair and gossiping, instead of defending yourselves against an escaped serial killer.

Sleepaway Camp (1983)
Be careful of the quiet ones.

Friday the 13th (1980)
Getting a job recommendation from working at Camp Crystal Lake is a nightmare.
