We know the holiday parties are about the commence and there’s no reason why we can’t keep it horror-ific while the festivities are in full swing!

Every Tuesday, NightTide will be sharing a horror-themed cocktail recipe to honor our favorite characters, themes and films all through New Year’s Day! First up: The Robataille, a spicy take on the original Bee’s Knees recipe. A tribute to the late, great Tony Todd.

THE ROBITAILLE

Ingredients

Spicy Honey Simple Syrup made of: 3 Tablespoons Mike’s Hot Honey, 2 Tablespoons Dark Honey and .25 cup of water (Combine hot honey, dark honey, and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil, turn off the heat. You can store this in a glass container with a seal in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

2 ounces Empress 1908 Oaken Gin

.75 ounce lemon juice

Build The Robitaille

1. Combine gin, lemon juice, and honey syrup in a shaker with ice.

2. Shake and strain into a tumbler glass

3. Garnish with a sugared lemon if desired
